Sarah Hileman joined the Animal Emergency Hospital team in April of 2025. She has been a Veterinarian since graduating from MSU in 2014. For the last 8 years, she has been an associate in a busy 24-hour Emergency Hospital in Reno, Nevada. Last spring, she and her family moved back home to Michigan. Dr. Hileman has a significant interest in managing critical illness, trauma patients and complex surgical cases. When Dr. Hileman is not working at AEH, she can be found at the gym training in mixed martial arts with her kids, lifting, hiking, cycling or curled up in bed with a book.

Dr. Sarah Hileman joined AEH in April 2025. A 2014 MSU graduate, she spent eight years in emergency medicine in Reno before returning home to Michigan. She has a strong interest in critical care, trauma, and complex surgery. Outside of work, she enjoys MMA training with her kids, lifting, hiking, cycling, and reading.

Dr. Ricketts joined Animal Emergency Hospital in 2023 and has practiced emergency and critical care since 2016. He is dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality care. Outside of work, he enjoys hiking, cooking, and gardening with his wife, son, and pets.
Dr. Amanda Hitchcock
Veterinarian
Dr. Hitchcock joined the Animal Emergency Hospital team in April 2025. A veterinarian since 2022, she has a strong interest in emergency, critical care, and internal medicine. In her free time, she enjoys crafting, quilting, cooking with her husband, hiking with him and their Siberian husky Kira, and relaxing with their three dogs, three cats, many chickens, and a good book.
